Guido Cappellini secured his tenth U.I.M. Formula 1 title in Sharjah today. The Italian finished the final event of the season in third place behind race winner, 2007 Champion, Sami Selio and title rival Thani Al Qamzi. Marit Strømøy equaled her best result of the season coming home in fifth place behind her team mate Jonas Andersson.
